My Sincere Review Of Edens Garden Essential Oil Benefits

There’s a scripture in the book of Ecclesiastes that makes the following statement: “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun”. While this nugget of wisdom pertains to many facets of life, it definitely applies to one of the most prominent health mega-trends to emerge in recent years: Essential oils.

The reason why I say this is because essential oils are far from a “new” idea; they’ve actually been around since the days of the Bible, but only in recent years has their importance been rediscovered. Today, there are scores of companies that offer these remarkable plant-based substances, and most of them market essential oils as a way to help customers integrate natural, organic products into their lives.

Since we’re on somewhat of a biblical theme right now, I thought it would be good to tell you about Edens Garden – no, not the actual garden mentioned in the book of Genesis, but a company that offers a variety of essential oil products.

Among the many essential oil retailers that I have researched in recent months, I will have to say that I have been fairly pleased with this company, as they add somewhat of a personal touch, which is something that you don’t always get from some of the larger firms in the essential oils space.

Edens Garden Company History

Established in 2009, Edens Garden was founded by a woman named Grace (no last name given), a married mother of four who had spent over a decade in the natural industry before launching out on her own.

At the time, essential oils were still very much an unearthed gem in terms of accessibility, and there were precious few companies that could supply these valuable natural substances to people on any kind of large or consistent scale. The desire to bring the wonder of essential oils to more people was the primary driver behind Grace’s decision to start her own essential oils business, and with only the space in her husband’s parents’ garage to work with, Edens Garden was born.

Eight years later, the company is still going strong, with a very impressive social media following across many different platforms, and a direct-to-consumer business model that alleviates many of the headaches that come along with offering products through brick-and-mortar stores, or even via Multi Level Marketing (MLM) distributors. In fact, Edens Garden has purposefully avoided selling their products through these types of channels in order to offer better pricing to their customers.

Edens Garden Product Quality

In my opinion, this is an area where Edens Garden seem to set themselves apart. They are dead-set on offering high quality essential oils, and it shows in the rigorous processes they go through in order to secure suppliers that can meet their stringent quality standards.

The company only offers 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils, which means that you won’t find any fillers, adulterants, diluting agents, contaminants, bases, carriers, additives, or other materials that can compromise the purity and quality of their oils.

Being a smaller outfit, Edens Garden does not do any growing or distilling of plant materials, but they do source their oils from organic growers and distillers who perform those aspects of the process. As an extra measure of reassurance, Edens Garden offers certificates of analysis, product specifications and Material Safety Data Sheets for all of their oils upon request.

Edens Garden Price Range

In my mind, this is one of the company’s strong points. Edens Garden recognizes that price is often a hurdle for people who would like to incorporate essential oils into their lives, but might not have the disposable income needed to commit funds to purchasing them.

What I’ve found with many of the other companies I researched is that they don’t have very much flexibility in terms of their product sizes. For the majority of the companies I’ve looked at, the 15ml bottle size seems to be the norm, but to me, this isn’t the best way to cater to a wide range of customers.

Edens Garden has taken a much wiser approach by offering various bottle sizes – from 5ml all the way up to 250ml – with very competitive pricing for each size category. So while Edens Garden’s pricing structure might not differ much from other essential oil retailers in terms of “price per drop”, they do have an advantage by way of offering customers smaller sized containers, which can trim the cost per bottle by a significant degree.

After all, let’s say that I wanted to buy a new type of essential oil that I’m not familiar with, but the only size available is a 15ml bottle. If for whatever reason I don’t like the oil, I’m stuck with a fairly large amount of it, especially in light of how highly concentrated they are and the fact that a little goes a long way with essential oils.

Wouldn’t it be much better for me to buy a small 5 or 10ml bottle of that same oil, so that I can “sample” it and determine if I want to buy more later? To me, this makes perfect sense, as it keeps customers from racking up a bunch of essential oil bottles that will only be partially used.

With prices ranging from a mere $4.95 for a 5ml bottle to hundreds of dollars for the 250ml bottles, you really won’t have a hard time finding the oil you want at a price you can afford. And this, after all, is the point (well, at least it should be) of being in business – to cater to your customers’ needs as best as you can. Through their accommodating price structure, Edens Garden accomplishes this.

Edens Garden Product Range

At the time of this writing, Edens Garden offers a selection of 140 different essential oils, from Allspice to Yuzu, and they also feature 57 different synergy blends, which are basically a mixture of two (or more) different types of essential oils.

Their synergy blends are designed to address specific health and wellness issues, from relieving stress and boosting mood to healing skin conditions and improving liver function. For example, they offer a synergy blend known as Anxiety Ease, which is a blend of Lemongrass, Ylang Ylang and Sweet Orange that is designed to calm tension and relieve nervousness.

Edens Garden also offers roll-on essential oil products for ease of application, as well as handy gift packs and starter sets to give you all of the basic oils you need to address specific health, personal care and wellness issues.

Company Website

In my humble opinion, this is one of the most impressive aspects of Edens Garden. Their website is gorgeous, clean, well-designed, and super-easy to navigate. It has lively colors and a cheerful look, and it seems to exude the very attitude or “spirit” that represents healthy, holistic living.

I also like the way that the company offers helpful information about essential oils through their blog, as well as a handful of educational material on their site.

Customer Service

Based on the customer reviews on their website as well as the interaction on their social media platforms, Edens Garden is doing a great job when it comes to customer service. They also provide plenty of ways to get in touch with them on their Contact page, which is a practice that I value highly.

I believe that companies need to make themselves available to their customers through several different channels, and it looks like this is definitely the case with Edens Garden.

Summary

At the risk of sounding a little too enthusiastic, I am quite impressed with Edens Garden. They’re not a huge operation cranking out essential oils by the thousands of units every day, but they really do seem to have their act together.

On their About page, the CEO stated that the company’s reputation is “everything”, and I believe that they live out those values in the various aspects of their business. If you’re looking for a company that offers high-quality essential oils at reasonable prices, along with good customer service – you can add Edens Garden to your list.
