1. Setting Up
Your delivered package should include a measuring cup, a manual booklet, a wall charger and the diffuser itself. Removing the cap is a breeze. You can then use the measuring cap to add water to the reservoir. Make sure you do not add more water than indicated. This will result in a weak and thin mist that will be much less effective in making your home or office smell good. Once the cap is back on, plug the unit into a standard wall socket and press the mist button to start the diffuser.
2. Mist Settings
You will notice a couple of buttons near the base of the unit. Each is labeled with the setting it controls. The mist button gets the diffuser going with one press and changes the mist mode with another press. The diffuser starts out on a continuous mode, where a fine mist is spewed out continuously. In this mode, expect the diffuser to run for three hours before the water runs out.
To get the diffuser to last longer, press the mist button to change to intermittent mode. In this mode, the diffuser produces a mist every thirty seconds and lasts for six hours before the water runs out. This is perfect if you need the diffuser to last through the night.
A green indicator light is for intermittent mode while a red light indicates continuous mode.
3. Light Settings
The mist is not the only thing you can change; you can play around with the lights too to set the exact mood you desire. There are 7 LED colors which rotate among each other. The lights will keep cycling until you press the light button to stop at a specific color and keep it there.
The light mechanism is separate from the mist one, meaning you can switch off the lights without affecting the mist. This comes in handy when you just want the aroma without the light. You can also turn off the mist and just leave the light on, essentially turning it into a handy night light.
4. Ultrasonic Technology
Most diffusers nowadays, including the InnoGear diffuser, rely on ultrasonic technology for an efficient and quiet operation. Inside, it contains a disc that vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies. This super quick vibrations break up the water and oil inside into a fine mist.
